Objective
To create deeper awareness of Maersk Air Freight services with existing Ocean customers within the Asia-Pacific region.
Challenge
Covid-19 has been the biggest supply chain disruptor in recent years leading to a large shortage of ocean containers. As delays and costs mounted, it became even more imperative for shippers to find a way out.
Insight
Air freight is seen as a last-resort, expensive option but in the face of damaging disruptions to supply chains as a result of Covid-19, inaction can be costlier. There, air freight becomes a proven advantage that comes to the rescue of any business.
The creative strategy
We decided to change the way customers look at air freight, from an expensive contingency to a game-changing advantage that saves the day. Maersk Air Freight is also offered as an existing option within our logistics plans, eliminating the need for customers to look for a fresh vendor.
